Nassfeld – Hermagor

The ski area Nassfeld-Hermagor is located in the Carnic Alps - a mountain group of the Southern Limestone Alps. The ski arena at Nassfeld is located directly at the top of the pass (1,552 m) and is the largest ski area in the entire province. The Nassfeld ski area is surrounded by three imposing peaks:

  • The Gartnerkofel (2,195 m)
  • The Roßkofel (2 239 m)
  • The Trogkofel (2 280 m)

For skiing and snowboarding, the Nassfeld ski area offers more than 110 km of pistes, which are made accessible by 30 lifts. Here, perfectly groomed slopes are combined with a southern flair. In no time at all, you can cross the border into Italy - and experience Italian flair and the typical pleasures of Mediterranean cuisine.

Mölltaler Gletscher

The Mölltal Glacier lies at over 3,000 metres and is therefore the only glacier ski area in Carinthia where you can enjoy pure winter pleasure all year round. The area only closes its doors to skiers for two months. From June onwards, however, it opens again. Once you have reached the top, 17.5 kilometres of slopes await you. The ski slopes are accessed by 9 lifts . A central contact point in the immediate vicinity of the glacier is our SPORT 2000 rent location on the Ankogel. At the ski school you can rent your winter sports equipment for skiing on the glacier.

Heiligenblut am Großglockner

Skiing on the highest mountain in Austria? If that doesn't sound like an extraordinary winter holiday. Heiligenblut lies at 1,288 metres and is therefore the highest alpine village in the entire province. This means that you can be sure of snow until spring when you go on a skiing holiday.

Just rent your ski equipment at SPORT 2000 rent am Sportladen Heiligenblut directly at the valley station and enjoy a carefree ski adventure along 55 kilometres of pistes, which are connected via 12 ski lifts each other.

The small family ski area offers ideal conditions and different levels of difficulty, especially for beginners. Further, winter activities round off the perfect mountain holiday:

  • Winter hiking
  • Curling
  • Tobogganing
  • Ski touring
  • Snowshoeing

Fine cuisine & fun parties: What else awaits you in Carinthia

.

After a fantastic day of skiing in Carinthia, it's time to party. Those who love après-ski will get their money's worth in Austria's southernmost province - for example, at the popular Wilderer Alm on the Katschberg. Après-ski is also a big deal at Nassfeld: Here, 25 huts offer the perfect mix of party atmosphere and culinary treats.

For those who prefer it quiet, the best place to go is the east of Carinthia: In Heiligenblut am Großglockner, for example, guests enjoy a relaxed ski holiday. There is, of course, still a large selection of bars and restaurants here.
