Het was allemaal super geregeld! Ik moet wel zeggen dat wij op een rustig moment zijn geholpen (zaterdag tussen 14.00 en 14.30 uur) en niet in de spits qua drukte.

Mozart, castles and culinary delights
What else is there to see in Salzburg?

The Austrian province of Salzburg has a lot to offer holidaymakers in both summer and winter. In addition to the numerous beautiful mountains that make the region a true skier's paradise, culture lovers also get their money's worth. Mozart's birthplace in the Getreidegasse is a must-see.

The Hohensalzburg Fortress sits enthroned on the mountain above the provincial capital of Salzburg. Mirabell Palace is also an extremely popular tourist destination and is worth a visit, especially in summer, because of its beautiful gardens. On the southern outskirts of the city is Hellbrunn Palace, which is known for its water features and is thus also a special experience for children.

The province is known far beyond its borders for its typical Salzburg dumplings and, of course, its Mozartkugeln. In addition to pastries, hearty and cheesy dishes are also very popular with the locals. These include, for example, the Pinzgauer Kasnocken or the Lungauer Käsknödel soup.
