Das Skigebiet zieht sich bis an die italienische Grenze. Anfänger profitieren von einem hervorragenden Plateau, das sich über fast fünf Kilometer entlang des Hauptkomplexes erstreckt. Sowohl Sonnenschein als auch Schneefall werden vom Resort garantiert, da im Laufe all der Jahre mehrfach der französische Schneefallrekord aufgestellt wurde. Aufgrund der Höhenlage liegt der größte Teil des Geländes oberhalb der Baumgrenze.
Die Hauptroute führt über die Gondel nach Tete de Pelevos direkt über dem Resort. Diese ist natürlich auch am stärksten belegt. Einige der härtesten Abfahrten, darunter schwarze Pisten in den Gebieten Mene und St. Sauveur, sind normalerweise ruhiger. Zweimal in der Woche wird, während der französischen Schulferien kostenlos Nachtskilauf auf der Skipiste von Belvédère organisiert.

Isola has a popular snowpark, boarder cross and halfpipe. Snowboard shows, live concerts and barbecues are organised here throughout the season. Freestyle and alpine training sessions are available. Isola 2000 has a special place in French snowboarding as the country's first snowboard club, the Back-to-Back Club, was founded here. The Back-to-Back Club is a member of the French Snowboard Association, officially recognised by the Ministry of Youth and Sport, and offers a special Snowboard Passport that provides both slope insurance and a discount on lift tickets.
The clubhouse includes a chill-out area, maintenance workshop and library with free internet access. The club also has an equipment testing centre in partnership with the snowboard industry, as well as a sports room, table tennis tables, table football and video games. Under constant sun, the resort is a great playground for ski fans.
