1. Where can I find Sport 2000 rent?

With 600 shops in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Czech Republic, France, Bulgaria and Andorra, SPORT 2000 rent is one of Europe’s biggest ski rental organisations. Find a detailed list of our sites in the "Resorts overview". Or simply enter the first letter(s) of your holiday destination in the "City" field. You will be shown the appropriate list of our attractive sites.

2. Are skiing poles included when renting skis?

Yes, ski poles are always included in ski and the ski set (skis + ski boots + poles). At some of our partners you can also rent individual ski gear, like e.g. poles, in addition.

3. Are there any extra costs when paying?

No, there are no extra administration or transaction costs. This makes us one of the very few rental providers who do not charge extra fees.

4. Which forms of payment will be accepted?

The following payment methods are available at all locations: electronic direct debit (Austria, Germany), Sofortü, Paypal, various credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express) and iDeal. Depending on your country of origin, not all payment methods may be available.

PayPal is an online service and includes a real-time payment solution. In order to use it, the customer needs to have a PayPal account, which is used to store his bank or credit card details. PayPal enables you to make payments simply by entering an e-mail address and password. The relevant amount is debited straight from your PayPal account and you will receive a payment/booking confirmation by e-mail.

Sofortü is a user-friendly direct payment system, which meets the high security standards required for online banking and TÜV approved data protection. Customers do not have to register in advance, deposit funds in a holding account or enter credit card details. An individual payment form is saved. As soon as the customer sets up a payment to an online bank account, the purchase amount is immediately transferred direct to Sport 2000 rent.

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. During the booking process, it is easy for the customer to enter his card number, security number and expiry date. When the invoice is issued, the correct amount is debited from the customer’s account.

You also have the option of paying for your order by direct debit. This requires a German or Austrian bank account. The customer only needs to provide us with the name of his bank, account holder and account number.

Our customers in the Netherlands can also use the convenient iDeal online payment system – for which they need to have an account at a participating Dutch bank (ABN AMRO, ASN Bank, Friesland Bank, ING, Knab, Rabobank, RegioBank, SNS Bank, Triodos Bank or Van Lanschot Bankiers).

Our online shop uses an electronic certificate. This allows us to prove our own identity to visitors and transfer all your details using a reliable encrypted connection. Your browser will display a symbol, which enables you to check that our certificate is genuine and valid. If a padlock symbol is displayed, this usually means that an encrypted connection has been successfully established. This symbol always appears outside your browser’s actual display area. It allows you to ensure that any information you provide really has been sent to us and the transfer was encrypted.
