The Garmisch Classic ski resort stretches from730 to 2,050 metres in altitude and offers a variety of slopes to suit all abilities across 40 kilometres of piste: 12 km of blue beginner and leisure runs, 18 km of red intermediate runs and 10 km of challenging black runs. Four snow-covered valley runs ensure reliable snow even in changeable weather. Every year on 1 January, Garmisch-Partenkirchen also hosts the New Year’s Jump of the Four Hills Tournament – thus living up to its reputation as Germany’s number one ski resort even off the slopes.

Every year on 1 January, the traditional New Year’s Day ski jump of theFour Hills Tournament takes place here.
