The Zauchensee and Flachauwinkl Ski Resorts are among the most beautiful winter destinations in the world. With an altitude between 1,000 and 2,100 metres above sea level, the lake area is not only situated high up, but also has one of the highest snow guarantees in Austria during the winter. The large ski resort between Zauchensee and Flachauwinkl has a total piste length of 44 kilometres and 16 ski lifts. Beginners will find almost 24 kilometres of easy piste landscapes that are just right for relaxed cruising. Deep-snow experts and ski racers get their money's worth on the challenging downhill runs around the Beggipfel. In particular, the downhill slalom of the Kogelalm and the mogul piste at the Roßkopf bring every skier to their sporting limits.
The Zauchi`s Kinderland offers easy practice slopes for the first turns in the snow for small ski beginners. The mini lift and the magic carpet also ensure fun during the ascent. With the support of experienced ski instructors, nothing stands in the way of your upcoming career as a ski professional. Freeriders can let off steam on three varied routes. The cool "Absolut Funpark" in Flachauwinkl and Kleinarl is a Mecca for freestyle skiing and snowboarding. With seven challenging obstacles, it is exactly the right terrain for freestyle artists. The Kogelalm has a state-of-the-art training centre.

Our local service partner Sport Klieber offers you a wide range of new and well-maintained skis and snowboards. You can also hire the right equipment from us – such as poles, shoes, helmets or clothing. In addition to comprehensive advice and a professional and daily equipment check with technically up-to-date machines, we also offer a service in boot fitting and ski boot repair.
Get the seventh day for free when you hire for six days. Children up to 10 years hire skis and equipment free of charge. We also offer free exchange in the model class you have booked. The ski hire at Zauchensee is located right in the middle of the lake area and therefore allows you to dive directly into the snow-covered mountain landscape.
